Positive Parenting Workshops

Introduction to positive parenting

Two part workshop taking place in the Worthing area. Learn how to stop reacting and start responding to put an end to parenting battles and make the change to become a calmer parent.

The workshop is run as a two part mini course. It enables you to go home and implement the tools and strategies before the final session.

Have you had enough of your kid’s back-chat, the tantrums and your children not listening to you?

Are you ready for your children to listen to you the first time, and every time?

Learn a powerful communication style that creates willing cooperation without coercion so that the whole family can go from chaos to calm.

During the two, 2 hour Workshops, we will cover:

  • How to make the shift to conscious, connected parenting
  • Brain development and how to help us help our kids
  • How to stop reacting and start responding
  • Tools and techniques to put to use straight away
  • £70 for the 2-part workshop payable in advance

Positively Parenting Sensitive Children

This 3 part workshop is for parents of highly sensitive or strong willed children. Whilst attendance at the Introduction to Positive parenting workshops may be beneficial it is not essential.

Running on consecutive weeks, this workshop takes you further into the brain development and structure of highly sensitive children, exploring and understanding the science behind our children’s development and behaviour.

Learn about developmental stages and executive functioning skills- what these are and how we can support our children to develop these skills to adapt to different situations.

Understand more about the impact of conscious communication on our children’s emotional wellbeing and how we can boost confidence and self esteem by our communication style.

Meet with other parents experiencing similar challenges and enjoy sharing your experiences once you begin putting the strategies in place following week one.

The 3 part workshop is £125. Couples attending the workshop together will be entitled to a fantastic 25% reduction on the second place.

It has been said that: Children may grow like orchids or dandelions- dandelion children are strong and can take root in any soil (their environment), thriving regardless. Orchid children need very specific soil (environmental conditions) in order to allow them to thrive, yet once they are provided with this they will grow to be even stronger (Ellis & Boyce, 2005).
